Have a family day out at the Falls of Clyde
Some of the UK’s best places to visit have had a boost from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Looking for a great family day out over half term or an autumnal weekend? How about visiting one of the many great places around the UK that has been saved, restored or reopened thanks to money raised by National Lottery players and given out by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
Scotland’s best-loved museum and gallery Kelvingrove houses one of Europe’s greatest art collections and features an eclectic mix of art, armour and ancient artefacts. Or take your inspiration from Turner, Ruskin and Wordsworth at the Falls of Clyde. The Clyde and Avon valleys offer rich history and wildlife.
The HLF is helping to fund more than 70 projects.
