Scottish Borders Council consulted SGLH’s Conservation Consultant Alison Alligan regarding proposals within Monteviot designed landscape which is included in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland and therefore assessed by Historic Environment Scotland to be of National importance.
