You can find out more about the rich heritage of Scotland’s historic gardens and designed landscapes by joining us and supporting our work. You will meet an enthusiastic group of members who share an interest in safeguarding this precious resource. We organise lectures and visits to gardens of special historic interest (many of which are not usually open to the public). We issue an on-line newsletter three times a year as well as an annual edition of The Pleasaunce.

Your support is vital to us even if you take no active part. Please join!

How to Join

To qualify for our special ‘Online’ rate please join through our secure online payments facility. ‘Online’ members receive communications through email. If you don’t have an email address you can join by cheque at our ‘Postal’ rate – please see details below. Our postal rate is higher to cover the cost of printing and communicating by post.

Once you have joined you will be added onto our online mailing list, if you have not already signed up, or opted out.

Student membership is free, and you will be required to submit your student registration number. Student membership is valid until you are no longer a registered student.

Pay by Cheque

Alternatively, you can also pay by cheque. Please make out cheques to ‘Scotland’s Garden and Landscape Heritage’ and send to: Honorary Treasurer SGLH, 34/2 Moray Place, Edinburgh, EH3 6BX.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer and sign a Gift Aid Declaration, SGLH can increase the value of your donation by claiming back 25p of tax on every £1 of your donations made on or after 6 April 2015.
