Opportunity for SGLH members to make a private visit to the redesigned walled garden by horticulturalist Nigel Dunnett and restored Victorian Fernery featuring planting by RBGE.

Day includes a guided tour of the house on arrival, lunch and wander around the garden, followed by a guided tour of Patrick Allan-Fraser Mortuary Chapel in Arbroath’s Western Cemetery.

Hospitalfield House is a 15-minute walk from Arbroath Railway Station.  The Mortuary Chapel is a 10-minute walk from Hospitalfield House.  Arbroath Railway Station is a 15-minute walk from Western Cemetery.  Parking available on site.  We would encourage car sharing when travelling by car.
