Branklyn Garden Centenary 1922-2022

A day celebrating Branklyn Garden’s Centenary beginning with a series of talks at The Salutation Hotel 34 South Street Perth assembling from 10.15am.

Speakers include Jim Jermyn, Property Manager and Head Gardener at Branklyn, Leonie Paterson RBGE Archivist, and Dr. Allan Elliott RBGE Biodiversity Conservation Network Manager and expert on rhododendron conservation. In the afternoon there will be a guided walk of Branklyn Garden led by Property Manager and Head Gardener Jim Jermyn.

The start time takes account of the train times from Edinburgh – according to the current timetable there is an 8.37am departure from Edinburgh which arrives Perth 10.01am.  The Salutation Hotel is approx. 10-15 minutes walk from Perth Railway Station and Bus Station.  As there is no car parking at the hotel, all participants will be sent a map showing the relative location of the venues, with advice on parking in Perth and at Branklyn Garden.
