Scotland’s Garden and Landscape Heritage were initially consulted by West Lothian Council in 2023 on an EIA Scoping option within the Newliston designed landscape Ref. GD00298 included in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland and therefore assessed by Historic Environment Scotland to be of National Significance. ​ Following our recommendations SGLH were asked to comment on a planning permission in principle .
