SGLH were consulted by Scottish Forestry regarding a Long Term Forestry Plan (LTFP) .  The LTFP area includes woodlands that lie within Methven Castle policies.  Methven Castle is designated as GDL00285 in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland held by Historic Environment Scotland (HES), and is therefore deemed to be of national significance.
